Questions from Ontario educators
Is this an official Ontario Ministry of Education product?
No. Almanack is an independent company. The beta is designed to reference current official curriculum and policy sources, but it is not endorsed by the Ministry, EQAO, a school board, Edwin, or Nelson Education.
Is this another library of Ontario lesson resources?
No. Ontario teachers already receive access to publisher resources through Edwin. Almanack’s proposed role is the teacher-owned workflow around those resources: planning, curriculum coverage, adaptation, assessment checks, provenance, and export.
Which educators will be invited first?
Initial review cohorts focus on Grades 7/8 combined classes, Kindergarten educator teams, Grade 9 Mathematics, Grade 10 History, and school or board curriculum leads. Signup data will determine the final order.
Does the beta need student information?
Not for the core planning and coverage workflow. Do not put student names, marks, attendance, IEP details, or observations into the signup form.
